Arcizans-Avant castle, known as the Black Prince, is situated
in the valley of Argelès-gazost, next to the National Park.
This valley offers an easy access to the many picturesque spots which made
the reputation of the Pyrenees : cirque de Gavarnie, the "Tour de France" passes
of Tourmalet and Aubisque, Cauterêts and the Vignemale.
In winter, the valley leads to five ski stations.
In summer, it is a beautiful place, with many wild animals, where
walkers, thermalists and sports lovers use to meet.
